KARNATAKA: Pakistan Blind Cricket Team continued their dominating performance against West Indies as well. They thrashed them by 182 runs to register their eighth consecutive win of Blind World T20.

Pakistan batted first and put 373/4 runs on the board, which is the highest team total in blind T20 cricket.

Pakistani openers Riasat Khan and Mohammad Jamil set the tone as they put a up partnership of 192 runs in just 10.2 overs. Mohammad Jamil scored 100 runs off just 36 deliveries with the help of twenty 4’s. On the other hand, Riasat Khan made 94 runs on 32 balls, he struck nine 4’s and two 6’s.

Mohammad Zafar and Mohsin Khan scored 46 and 32 runs respectively in their inning.

Ganesh Mithra Singh and Anthony Fitzgerald Cummings took one wicket each for West Indies.

In reply of Pakistan’s record total, the visually impaired men from Caribbean could only manage 191 runs in their quota of 20 overs.

Dennal Deboya Shim remained the pick of the batsman for them with a score of 59 runs off 31 balls with the help of six 4’s and two 6’s. Kevin Andrew Douglas was the second highest scorer for his team with 38 runs.

No other batsman from the West Indies team could made any praiseworthy contribution.

Sajid Nawaz, Mohammad Akram, Riasat Khan, Anees Javed and Mohsin Khan took one wicket apiece in the match.
