Pakistan captain appeals PM Khan to uplift football

Pakistan football team captain Saddam Hussain appealed to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan for the betterment of football in the country.

“Our participation in FIFA World Cup qualifiers is in danger and if we fail to play the tournament then we will out of the international football arena,” said Saddam while appealing to the PM to help them take part in the event.

Moreover, he said that their Asia Cup participation will also be impossible if they fail to participate in the World Cup. “We will not be able to take part in Asian tournament if we do not take part in the World Cup qualifier,” he said.

The skipper revealed that no player is finalized who will be a part of the team in the mega event. He was quick to add that all countries have prepared themselves for the mega event. “Countries have finalized their squads and we are still struck in controversies,” he added.

It merits mentioning here that Pakistan has to face Cambodia on June 6 in an away contest while they will host them on June 11. Pakistan are also scheduled to play big teams like Australia, Japan, and Qatar in the future.
