Pakistan dropped to 194th rank in FIFA World Ranking

Pakistan football face further embarrassment as they fall two more places down in FIFA World Ranking to 194 from 192 position.

The reason for Pakistan’s shameful decline in world ranking is because they have not been involved in an international game since March 2015, when they drew a contest against Yemen with 0-0.

The power struggle in the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has put all soccer activities in Pakistan to a halt. A disputed election in mid 2015 has divided the football federation into two groups that is proving dreadful for Pakistan football.

The lack of international action cost points and that has resulted in Pakistan’s lowest rank in the history. If the matters are not resolved soon, Pakistan football team will keep declining in the world ranking.

On the other hand, Wales has made a remarkable improvement after their fairytale campaign in Euro Cup, they have jumped up 15 places to occupy the 11th position, however, England has slipped down two places to 13.

The Euro Cup Champions, Portugal has captured 6th rank. Whereas, Lionel Messi’s Argentina is still the top ranked team in the world despite of losing to Chile, who are ranked at the 5th spot.

Here are the top ten teams:

1. Argentina
2. Belgium
3. Colombia
4. Germany
5. Chile
6. Portugal
7. France
8. Spain
9. Brazil
10. Italy
