BRISBANE: Pakistan Cricket Team arrived here at Brisbane for their upcoming World Cup match against Zimbabwe which is to be played on March 1st, ARY Sports reports.
The team is on the brink of a do-or-die situation after losing both of its games in the mega event.
The green-shirts were beaten by arch-rivals India by 76 runs at Adelaide whereas Pakistan also lost to West Indies by 150 runs at Christchurch.
The Asian side has to beat Zimbabwe if they are to keep their hopes alive for the quarter-final stage of the tournament.
Earlier, the team and management sat together and discussed how the team can open their winning account in the World Cup. The under-fire Pakistan team is asked by the management to “move on” and focus on the upcoming matches rather than brooding over their humiliating defeats.
The selectors are optimistic that the team will live up to its expectations by winning their next matches. They have decided to make the team practice hard in the next five days.
