Pakistan has to give 100 percent against India, says Afridi

ADELAIDE: Star all-rounder Shahid Afridi has said that the team has to give 100 percent in their World Cup match against India, ARY Sports reports.

The green-shirts start their ICC World Cup 2015 campaign against India on Sunday (tomorrow)

Shahid Afridi has said that the team has not prepared well for the Cricket World Cup but still has to perform well against their arch nemesis.

The leg-spinner said that spinners have played a key role for the team’s bowling department while Saeed Ajmal and Mohammad Hafeez have contributed significantly for the side.

“Ajmal and Hafeez’s absence can make a difference on the team’s performance in the mega event”, he said.

The former one day ODI captain, commenting on the Pakistan-India match, stated that the team has to prepare itself for the game if it hasn’t.

He added that there are no favorites to win the World Cup but tough competition is expected between Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
