Pakistan Green beat India in International Kabaddi Championship


Pakistan Green beat India by the scores of 47-24 to win their match in the International Kabaddi Championship at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad on Monday.

In another match, Pakistan White beat Iran to win their first match of the event in front of a huge crowd who were cheering for the traditional game of Pakistan.

Indian team captain while talking to the ARY News said that winning or losing is a part of the game but they enjoyed playing in front of the Pakistani crowd.

“It was an amazing experience to play in front of such an enthralling crowd,” he said.

Indian team manager Santosh Singh Kabir on the occasion said that Pakistan is a safe country and he has been coming here for last 20 years.

“I found no threat here and any kind of sporting event can take place in Pakistan,” he said.

Singh asked people to visit Pakistan as it is a safe place and tourism should be promoted in the country.

“I would like to request people to visit Pakistan as it is a safe place and the people here are very hospitable,” he said.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) defeated WAPDA by the scores of 51-40 on Sunday to lift 41st National Kabaddi Championship at the same venue.
