Pakistan Green kabaddi team thrashed India by 40-29 to win the International Kabaddi Taakra title at Punjab Stadium Lahore on Sunday, while Pakistan White beat Iran in a match for 3rd place at the same venue.
The arch-rivals showcased impressive kabaddi skills and entertained the spectators by exhibiting great styles throughout the match.
At the half time, Pakistan Green were leading by 23-15 points. Musharraf Janjua and Jaabar Kamboh steal the show as both were adjudged the best stopper in the final match.
On the other hand, Pakistan White team beat Iran by 31-24 to bag the third position.
On the occasion, President of Pakistan Kabbadi Federation Chaudhary Shafay Hussain while talking to ARY news said, “International Kabbadi has returned to Pakistan after eleven years and I’m thankful to the Indian team who participated in this event,” he said.
Indian team captain Harjeet Singh was happy with the security arrangements in the country and the hospitality from Pakistan.
