Pakistan Hockey Super League to take place from January 12


The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) will stage its first hockey league naming Pakistan Hockey Super League (PHSL) from January 12 to 19 next year at National hockey stadium, Lahore.

The PHF on Friday released an official promo of the league which will pave the way for Pakistan to gain revive it’s lost pride in the world of hockey.

The league will match the standards of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) as it features the world’s top class hockey players.

The aim behind organising the league is to give the national players an opportunity to rub their shoulders with international hockey players.

According to the PHF, the league will help the youngsters grow their ability and to gain exposure while sharing the dressing room with international stars.

“This league will help our local players to grow their playing techniques,” the PHF’s officials said.
