Pakistan beat Iran, qualifies for Kabaddi World Cup final


Lahore: Pakistan beat Iran by the score of 52-30 in the semi-final on Saturday and qualified for the final of the Kabaddi World Cup, scheduled on February 16 at Punjab Stadium Lahore. 

Iran went down in front of the home side despite an initial 6-5 lead. But determined Pakistani side with strong techniques dominated and made their place into the finals for the fifth time.

Defending champions India will take on the home side Pakistan tomorrow. India had clinched the Kabaddi World Cup title six times.
