‘Pakistan has lost players in last decade’ Harsha Bhogle

Karachi: Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle thinks that Pakistan has lost players in the last decade which is a main concern for the cricketing nation.

Speaking to Ramiz Raja on his Youtube channel, Bhogle expressed his opinion on Pakistan’s cricket setup. “I think its a problem with Pakistan, they have lost players in the last 10 years. I would say 3 and a half players, the country has lost in last decade,” he said.

“First is Mohammad Asif, still many players highly rate him and consider him as one of the toughest bowlers they have ever faced. Mohammad Amir, I still think that Pakistan has lost him even though he performed well in recent times. Umar Akmal and half Ahmed Shahzad have also been lost by Pakistan,” he added.

It must be noted here that Amir, Salman Butt, and Asif were banned in 2010 following the spot-fixing scandal. Amir made a comeback in the national team in 2016. Umar Akmal has recently been banned by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) due to violating the Anti-Corruption code.
