Pakistan’s head coach Mickey Arthur while talking to media said that Pakistan team still has a chance to win Asia Cup.
“Pakistan will win their last Super Four game against Bangladesh and then will take revenge for the two losses against India by beating them in the final,” said head coach.
The coach termed Pakistan’s performance against India as a huge disappointment, he said that it is the worst defeat of his career as Pakistan’s coach.
Arthur believes that the collapse against India twice in Asia Cup is because of lack of confidence in the team.
“The team is going through a development stage and a huge loss such as the one against India has certainly shaken their confidence,” said Arthur.
He further added that the bowlers did not bowl according to the plan, while our batting got pressurized under the Indian bowling attack.
However, the 50-year-old coach is optimistic that Pakistan will bounce back and outclass Bangladesh in an all-important game which will be played on Wednesday at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
The winner will lock horns against India in the final on Friday, 28 September.
