Pakistan team arrives in Karachi for second Test under strict security


The national cricket team has reached Karachi from Rawalpindi for the second Test match against Sri Lanka, the team was rushed to the hotel in a tight security base from Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.

The second match of the series of the two-Test matches will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi from the 19th. Sri Lanka’s guest team will arrive in Karachi today afternoon, with both teams participating in training sessions at the National Stadium on December 17 and 18.

The first Test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at Rawalpindi Stadium ended on a draw. On the fifth day of the first Test match, the guest team made 308 runs for six wickets and declared their first innings while Pakistan made 252 for 2 wickets in the first innings.

Historic Pindi Test mostly damaged due to bad weather. Pakistani opener Abid Ali set a unique world record, he became the world’s first cricketer to score a Test and ODI debut and was named Man of the Match. Babar Azam also scored his third Test career century, with both teams scoring 20 points for the ICC Test Championship.
