Pakistan has traveled to Taunton after an exhausting 10-day training camp at Hampshire, where they will face Somerset in a side game on Wednesday.
The newly appointed fielding coach, Steve Rixon joined the team and the boys had a serious fielding session in the chilly weather of Taunton.
Grant Luden, the strength and conditioning coach, seems happy with progress of the Men in Green so far.
Pakistan team arrived at the Somerset County Cricket Club’s training ground, where the new head coach, Mickey Arthur spoke to the squad and expressed his expectations from the them.
Rixon also addressed the troop and communicated his perception and philosophy about fielding.
Pakistan’s fielding has been a major concern for them, the fielders do not support bowlers and drop some sitters that give the opponent a chance to dominate them.
Pakistan is on a full-fledged tour to England, where they will play a four-match test series, a five-match ODI series and a T20 international.
Pakistan and England will lock horns in the first test of the tour on July 14 at the historical venue of Lord’s.
