Pakistan hockey team left on Sunday from Karachi to Breda, Netherlands to compete in the 37th Champions Trophy which will be played from June 23 to July 1.
Under the captaincy of Rizwan Sr., the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has sent the team three weeks earlier than the competition so that players could adjust in the climate, moreover, they will play five practice games ahead of the tournament.
Pakistan squad is compromised of 22 players, the management likely to have enough options to extract out a winning combination for the upcoming Asia Cup.
Pakistan will compete for the gold against five other teams, hosts the Netherlands, Olympic champions Argentina, world champions Australia, Olympic silver medallist Belgium and Asian champions India.
