LAHORE: Pakistan team for T20Is against New Zealand, England, and T20 World Cup 2021 will be announced on Monday (September 6), the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared on Sunday.
National chief selector Mohammad Wasim will announce the squad at Gaddafi Stadium tomorrow.
The announced players will be playing the home T20I series against New Zealand firstly to kick off the campaign. Later on, England will come to Pakistan to play two T20Is.
Five T20Is against New Zealand are scheduled here at Gaddafi Stadium from September 25 to October 3. Two T20Is against England are scheduled on October 13, 14.
Pakistan will start its T20 World Cup campaign against arch-rivals India on October 24 at Dubai International Stadium. Later on, the Green Shirts will play against New Zealand, Afghanistan, and two qualified teams in the mega event.
As per International Cricket Council (ICC)’s rules, teams can submit their final squad for the extravaganza by September 10.
