Pakistan defeated India in the final of the Asian Kabaddi Cup by a margin of 50-31 and clinched the title for the second consecutive time.
In a match played at Wah Cantt Pakistan dominated the proceedings and established a handsome lead right at the start of the match to keep a firm grip on the match. At the end of first half Pakistan were leading by 24-15. Pakistan continued to assert their authority over their opponents to win the match convincingly in the end.
Seven teams which included India, Iran, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Pakistan participated in this major tournament and the Pakistan team remained unbeaten throughout the entire events which is a glimpse of their stunning performance at their home soil.
