Pakistan to use Edhi Foundation logo on their kit in England

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has allowed Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to bear the Edhi Foundation logo on Pakistan cricket team’s official kit during England tour.

Pakistan’s skippers of all three formats, Misbah Ul Haq, Azhar Ali and Sarfraz Ahmed will attend a ceremony, where they will back the Edhi Foundation.

Pakistan cricket team is expected to leave for England at 9 AM on Saturday. After reaching there, they will attend a two-week long training camp in Hampshire so that they can get familiar with the conditions.

It will be the first instance where Pakistan cricket team will wear a logo of a charitable foundation in an international outing.

Pakistan is scheduled to play four-match test series, five-match One Day International series and a T20 international on the English shore.

The Prime Minister of England, David Cameron said in a written message on Thursday that he hopes English team will tour Pakistan soon.

“I hope that one day, in the not too distant future, I will be able to wish the England cricket team a successful tour of Pakistan,”

The first test match of the tough tour will kick off from July 14th.
