KARACHI: Pakistan U19 squad has returned negative in their first COVID-19 testing ahead of the Bangladesh tour.
Following the clearance from the widely-spread virus, the squad will gather in Lahore to undergo a training camp before leaving for Bangladesh. The squad will undergo second testing upon their arrival in Lahore on April 1.
After two negative results, the squad will resume training at NCA from April 2. A ten-day training camp will allow players to prove their mettle for final selection.
After the training camp, as many as 17 players will be shortlisted for the tour. The team is scheduled to depart on April 11.
The green shirts are scheduled to play four-day and five 50-over matches against Bangladesh.
