Pakistan women’s team coach pays tribute to groundsmen

Pakistan women’s team head coach Mark Coles on Sunday after their convincing win against West Indies in the third T20I at Southend Club Karachi appreciated the groundsmen for their input in making the event successful.

Coles shook hands with each worker who was making his effort to clean the ground and applauded their efforts to finish this event on a successful note.

“Nothing was possible without these workers who worked hard overnight to make this event happen,” Coles said while talking to the ARY Sports.

Coles is known for his such heart-winning steps as earlier he along with national team players decided to donate for a labor’s family who lost his life while doing construction work at National Stadium Karachi.

It is pertinent to mention here that Coles was appointed as women’s team coach in 2017. Men’s team head coach Mickey Arthur suggested the cricket board to pursue the services of Coles who had strong coaching experience. Under his presence, Pakistan women showed improvement.

Coles inherited new fielding standards in the team and kept fitness benchmarks to get the things right for women cricketers.
