Pakistan women’s team crushed Bangladesh by fifteen runs in the second T20I on Monday at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore and took a decisive lead in the series.
Batting first, the hosts put 167 on board in the loss of just three wickets. Captain Bismah remained the top-scorer as she played a captain’s knock of 70 not out which came off 50 balls with the help of nine boundaries and a six, while Javeria Khan scored a 52 off 44 balls.
In reply, Bangladesh team scored 152 for seven as Pakistan’s bowlers jolted the batting line up. Sadia Iqbal took three wickets while Anam Amin, Sana Mir and Diana Baig took one wicket apiece for Pakistan.
From Bangladesh, Sanjida Islam stood highest scorer with 45 runs off 32 balls but couldn’t finished the game on the winning note.
