Pakistani athletes are all set to showcase their skills in World Nomad Games 2018 as the event kicked off with a glittering opening ceremony in Kyrgyzstan on September 2.
Over 2,000 athletes from 77 countries participated in the event. The event comprises more than 35 different sports including Mas-wrestling, arm-wrestling, endurance, flat racing, horseback archery, sumo and tug of war.
According to Kyrgyz media report earlier, Secretary General of the Pakistan Masswrestling Federation met Kyrgyz Ambassador Erik Beishembiev and expressed the desire to participate in the event to promote culture and Sports between the two countries.
The World Nomad Games is an international sport initiated by Kyrgyzstan, which takes place after every two years. This is the third edition of the event, the first event was held in 2014 and second in 2016.
