Pakistan’s young boxer Usman Wazir is all set to fight for World Boxing Ranking on September 7 in Philipines.
Wazir will compete against his Philippine’s counterpart in super light category to show his strength and power in the ring. Hailed from Gilgit/Baltistan, Wazir will is confident to give a tough time to the opponent.
“I am prepared well for the fight and I am confident to achieve good results for my country,” said Wazir who did his one-month long training in Philippine’s capital, Manila.
“I want to win this title and dedicate it to Pakistan and the people of Gilgit and Baltistan,” he added.
Wazir appealed to the Pakistani nation to pray for his success as he is determined not to give up till the last moment.
“I just want your support and I will Inshallah win this fight,” he requested to the people of Pakistan.
Earlier, Wazir participated in the fight in New York on the card of Former unified light-welterweight world champion, Amir Khan back in April this year.
