Pakistani cricketers give messages on ‘Pakistan Day’


Where the whole nation is celebrating ‘Pakistan Day’, there are Pakistani cricketers who showed their love and support to the country by giving patriotic messages to the Pakistani nation on this auspicious occasion.

The regular captain of Pakistan cricket team Sarfraz Ahmed said that ‘Pakistan Day’ is important in the history of Pakistan as it laid the solid foundation for the country which get independence on August 14, 1947.

“We are lucky to have Pakistan as our homeland and without our country we are nothing,” said Sarfraz who asked the nation to work together for the success of Pakistan.

Left-handed batsman Shan Masood that every Pakistani should play a role to take Pakistan on high. “Our role as a citizen of Pakistan is to contribute worthy for our country,” he said.

Imad Wasim hopes that Pakistan will get success time and again and it is his pleasure to contribute to his country. “We are living on a homeland which provided shelter to us. I would like to thank our armed forces who protect us from evil’s eye,” said all-rounder.

Imam-ul-Haq called ‘Pakistan Day’ precious for every Pakistani either living in Pakistan or abroad. “It is an honor for me as a player to represent my country at International level,” said Imam, who has played 10 Tests and 22 ODIs for Pakistan.
