Pakistani shooter bags gold in NRA Championship in US

Pakistan shooter, Mohsin Nawaz won the National Rifle Association (NRA) Championship Long Range for the first time for Pakistan.

The NRA Championship which took place in the USA featured a total of 476 shooters who competed in a range of 600 yards.

Mohsin bagged 1st position in the Masterclass.

Mohsin thanked the god for winning the tournament and bringing this title for the first time for Pakistan.

“It is really heartwarming for me that I have achieved something big for my country,” he said.

He was quick to add that it was an honour for him to represent Pakistan in this shooting event and said that “Participating here gave me ample exposure and also it will help me to participate in some more events like this in future,”

Mohsin stressed the need of establishing proper academies for shooting where talented youngsters can showcase their talent and pursue shooting as a profession.

“There is immense talent in Pakistan but need proper facilities to get nourished,” he added.
