KARACHI: As New Zealand disappointed cricket fans in Pakistan by withdrawing from the tour just minutes before the first ODI in Rawalpindi, all eyes are now on England as they are yet to re-confirm their two-T20Is tour to the country next month.
New Zealand Cricket (NZC)’s cancelation of the Pakistan tour citing security threats put things at stake for Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as far as hosting international teams was concerned.
England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had decided to review their decision and security situation in the country which was blamed for security loopholes by New Zealand’s government/security agencies.
However, cricket fans in Pakistan are hopeful that England will tour Pakistan next month to play two T20Is.
NZ entered and exit Pakistan safely with no breach of security
NZ never shared the threats with anyone
PSL majority of the Foreign players are English
UK removed Pak from Red List
Lot of Pakistanis live in UK#PakvEng is on in my opinion. Don’t y’guyz worry ❤️
