Pakistan’s young Karate masters win medals in Tirak International Taekwondo championship


Pakistani teenage Karate master Afif Ali Khan bagged silver in the eighth Tirak International Taekwondo championship in Thailand.

The His compatriots Syed Abu Huraira Shah and Master Zameer Altaf Khan clinched the bronze medal each to hoist Pakistan’s flag in young age.

Shah came out with flying colours in Kyorugi category while Khan featured in Poomase category of the event.

The young Karate/Taekwondo trio thanked Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF) for providing them with an opportunity to represent Pakistan at International level.

They said that they want to participate in more competitions where they can show their skills and bring more laurels for their native land.

The Pakistan contingent was headed by Faisal Khan while team manager Master Zameer Khan and coach Master Syed Abdul Rehman Shah were also present alongside the young participants.

It is pertinent to mention here that 25 countries from around the World participated in the mega event which some saw some very talented young Karate masters.
