The head of national selection committee, Inzamam Ul Haq announced Pakistan’s squad for the ACC U-23 Emerging Cup that is to be played in Bangladesh from March 26 to April 2.
The 15-member squad is led by Pakistan’s young talented wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan, whereas, Haris Sohail is named as the vice captain of the team.
The tournament is played among the Asia’s associate teams including Afghanistan, Nepal, Hong Kong and Malaysia, who will have their complete squad. On the other hand, Test nations, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will have their U-23 squad with four senior players.
Hammad Azam, Haris Sohail, Bilal Asif and Mohammad Rizwan are the senior players included in Pakistan’s squad.
The eight participating teams are divided in Group A and Group B. Pakistan are in Group B with Bangladesh , Nepal and Hong Kong.
The tournament will commence from March 26 and the final will be played on April 2.
