PCB  announces women's squad for the series against New Zealand

The recently appointed women team’s chief selector Basit Ali has formally asserted 14 member in Women’s squad to feature in the first round of ICC Women’s Championship against New Zealand.

Pakistan women ‘s  team is scheduled to play three-match ODI series and four-match T20I matches series against New Zealand from October 31, 2017 to Nov 14, 2017 at Pakistan’s adopted home, Sharjah.

The continuous poor performances in last matches of Women team led the selection committee to take major decisions.

The PCB appointed Mark Coles as head coach of the team, whereas Sana Mir has been replaced by Bismah Maroof as the ODI Captain,

Maroof is the second-most experienced ODI player after Mir, She has an image as a seasoned and dependable player of the team. She averages 26.35 in ODIs and 25.98 in T20s.
