The International Cricket Council (ICC) will give its final verdict in PCB’s $70 million compensation case against BCCI within next 15 days.
The three-member dispute panel heard the case on Wednesday and gave the time of 15 days for the announcement of the results which will not be revised.
India’s former foreign minister, Salman Khursheed also appeared before the tribunal as a witness from the BCCI.
It is pertinent to mention here that the PCB filed the $ 70 million compensation case against BCCI claiming that a huge loss cost to them as India refused to play the six bilateral series according to the Memorandum of Understand (MoU) out of which four were to be hosted by Pakistan.
The two boards had numerous meetings to resolve the issue, but they did not reach a conclusion. As a result, PCB eventually sent a dispute notice to the ICC in the last November.
