PCB Blasters marked their second win of National Triangular One-Day Women Cricket Championship after they beat PCB Dynamites by seven runs at Lahore Gymkhana Ground on Wednesday.
While batting first, Ramin Shamim-led PCB Blasters posted a decent total of 162 runs on the scoreboard. Opener Sidra Amin remained the top scorer as she scored 44 runs off 89 balls with the help of five boundaries.
Tooba Hassan played 48 balls to score 28 runs laced with just a couple of boundaries.
Off-spinner Sana Mir took three wickets and conceded 26 runs while Ghulam Fatima bagged two wickets while giving away 43 runs.
In reply, PCB Dynamites fell just seven runs short to the target. Kainat Imtiaz played brilliantly and scored 56 runs but couldn’t get the hold of it. She smashed seven boundaries during her stay at the crease.
Skipper Nida Dar contributed 33 runs to the team’s total. Javeria Khan scored 27 runs with help of four boundaries.
Aliya Riaz and Nashra Sandhu bagged two wickets each for the winning side.
