PCB calls Board of Governers (BoG) meeting on June 26


Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) called an urgent meeting of Board of Governors (BoG) on Jun 26, ARY News reported. 

Chairman Ehsan Mani will chair the meeting via video link. According to the sources, the PCB will take board members in the loop for new appointments in the national team and High-Performance center.

The other matters which will be discussed in the meeting are approval of 2020-21 budget, approval of the Cricket Model Constitution, review of amendments in the Provincial and City Cricket Association constitution.

Meanwhile, the cricket board will present its report on completing the last phase of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 5. The Twenty20 league was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. PCB is looking forward to staging knock-out stage sometime later this year after the current situation settles down.

Moreover, PCB will also brief the board members about preparations for the upcoming ‘bio-secure’ England tour. A squad of 29 players will leave Pakistan in the last week of June.
