Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to test all the players, officials and broadcasters for Coronavirus before they leave the country.
As a safety precaution, PCB has issued directives to all the people involved in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) to undergo precautionary tests for coronavirus. The cricket board will conduct screening within two hours at the local hotel and players are advised to wait for the results prior to undertaking any travel.
It must be noted here that the PCB has postponed the PSL 5 knockout stage for an indefinite period of time. PSL 5’s semi-final and final will be rescheduled once the situation gets better. Remember, Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars are the semi-finalists teams of the event.
Sultans were scheduled to take on Zalmi in first semi-final whereas Kings were to play Qalandars for the first time at the knockout stage.
