LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering to replace Moin Khan as chief selector of the team citing sources, ARYSports.tv reports on Monday.
Sources said that the cricketing board is considering to sack Moin Khan as the chief selector ahead of Pakistan’s tour of Bangladesh in mid April.
PCB is also thinking of removing the entire selection committee as well.
It should be noted that PCB is being criticized over its selection in the World Cup 2015. The team was eliminated from the mega event after losing the quarter final to co-hosts Australia on Friday.
The board is still considering the names of different players for leading the team as well. However, no strong candidates have been named for the post left by Misbah-ul-Haq after the mega event.
Pakistan made headlines in newspapers during the World Cup as eight of its players were caught breaching a curfew whereas Moin Khan was spotted in Christchurch’s casino.
