On advice of the newly appointed selection committee headed by Inzamam-ul-Haq Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to organize a training camp for the Pakistan cricket team in England rather than in Pakistan.

Although the physical fitness camp of Pakistan cricket team was originally supposed to take place in Abbottabad from the 14th of May to 4th of June but now the PCB has decided to shorten the camp and end it on 28th of May. The spare days will be used up to hold a training camp for the team in English county of Hampshire which is scheduled to begin on the 16th of June according to reports from local media.

The camp will help the national side in acclimatizing with the conditions because that poses a big problem for the young players who have not played in the English conditions before. This camp will ensure that they know a things or two about the seaming conditions before the real challenge begins.

This proposal by the selection committee is approved by the PCB but the official announcement will be made when chairman Shaharyar Khan gives the nod.
