The PCB Dynamites defeated PCB Challengers by seven wickets in the opener of the Triangular one-day women cricket championship at State Bank Ground, Karachi on Monday.
Javeria Khan played a handy knock of 67 runs to help her team to pull off a convincing win over the opponents.
PCB challengers after winning the toss decided to bat first after they bowled out on just 166 runs in 49.3 overs. Umme Hani remained unbeaten on 50 runs laced with two boundaries and a six.
Kainat Imtiaz was the other prominent scorer for PCB challengers with 49 runs spread over four boundaries and a six. Nashra Sandhu was the pick of the bowlers for PCB Dynamites with taking four wickets.
PCB Dynamites in reply chased the target in 36.3 overs for the loss of three wickets. Apart from Javeria Khan, Sidra Amin played a responsible knock of 64 runs to contribute in her team’s victory.
