The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to announce the final date for the draft of Pakistan Super League’s season fourth season today during the meeting of Governing Council of the league.
The new chairman of the board, Ehsan Mani will head the meeting, where he will be briefed about the performance of PSL so far.
Venue and time for PSL matches will be discussed during the meeting, while a new advertisement for league’s broadcasting rights will be issued. Foreign broadcasting companies are likely to be invited to bid for the rights.
Two of the many agendas that will get the attention of governing council and the PCB chairman during the all-important meeting will be the cost of holding PSL and reservations of franchise owners.
Moreover, the availability of international players and procedure of draft will also be talked about.
Ehsan Mani replaced Najam Sethi as the new after he resigned from the post following Imran Khan becoming the new Prime Minister of the country.
