The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) junior selection committee headed by former batsman Basit Ali named the 15-member squad for the upcoming U19 Asia Cup on Thursday.
The 16-years-old, Rohail Nazir will lead the National side in the tournament kicks off September 28 in Dhaka and Chittagong.
The other players in the squad include Muhammad Mohsin, Saim Ayub, Jahanzaib Sultan, Awaiz Zafar, Waqar Ahmad, Saad Khan, Rohail Nazir (Captain/WK), Muhammad Asif, Farrukh Abbas, Muhammad Bilal Javed, Junaid Khan, Musa Khan, Naseem Shah, Muhammad Hasnain and Arshad Iqbal.
Head Coach Azam Khan alongside team manager Sadiq Mohammad, Assistant Coach Muhtashim Rasheed, Fielding Coach Sadiq Faqir, Physiotherapist Usman Ghani, Trainer Saboor Ahmad and Analyst Usman Hasmi will travel with the team to participate in the eight-team tournament.
It is important to mention here that on special permission from the ACC, the National team will have five additional players including Izhar Ahmed, Haider Ali, Bilal Khan, Mukhtiyar Ahmed and Khayam Khan.
The green shirts will play their first match against Hong Kong on September 29 in Chittagong.
