LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided not to extend the contract of former cricketer Sarfaraz Nawaz, ARYSports.tv reported.
The decision was taken after the former cricketer had leveled match fixing allegations against the cricketing board after the green shirts lost to India and West Indies in the ongoing World Cup.
PCB has served legal notice to Nawaz over his claims.
Nawaz, who played 55 test and 45 one day matches in his cricketing career, is currently serving as bowling consultant in PCB’s Islamabad region. His contract will expire at the end of March.
