Chairman was also grateful to the squash legend Jahangir Khan on bringing the PSL trophy today in the ceremony and thinks that it is our duty to recognized other sportsmen of the country.

“We are grateful to him (Jahangir) for his massive support for the PSL and the spirit of the game also allows us to recognize and give respect to other sportsmen,” he maintained.

He also fulfilled his promise that Peshawar will host matches from next year. “Today, we are going to fulfill our promise that┬áthe whole effort is to host matches in Peshawar in next season of PSL,” he added.

“The success of the PSL is the result of teamwork, the PSL is a Pakistani product and if there is a mistake in the schedule of matches, there is an opportunity to learn from this,” he appreciated.

In the end, he hailed that without the support of PSL franchise owners, it was not possible to bring PSL completely back to Pakistan.

“Without the cooperation of franchises, the complete holding of PSL would not be possible in Pakistan, I thank the franchise owners for making the league successful.┬áThe effort is to show the positive identity of Pakistan in the world,” he concluded.

It must be noted that the PSL trophy unveiling ceremony took place for the first time in Pakistan where squash icon Jahangir Khan brought the trophy and it was revealed by PCB chairman Ehsan Mani.
