Karachi submits most club registration applications in PCB


LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has received 3807 applications for club registration, an increase of 22 percent from the previous record.

According to the details, 3115 clubs were registered with the PCB before 2019. This time 3807 clubs have shown interest in registration.

PCB has received the most number of club registrations (231) from Karachi followed by Lahore (222). 102 clubs from Faisalabad, 94 from Hyderbad, 87 from Rawalpindi, 83 from Bannu, and 82 from Quetta have also applied for registration.

Most clubs (845) have sent their applications from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) cricket association. 774 clubs from Central Punjab, 676 from Sindh, 524 from Southern Punjab, and 486 from Northern have applied for registration.

In the second phase of club’s registration process, short-listed clubs’ president will receive players’ registration link via email.
