PCB removes Iqbal Imam as women’s team head coach


Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced to remove Iqbal Imam from women’s team head coach post via press release on Friday. 

Iqbal, who took charge as the women’s team head coach after Mark Coles left the job suddenly, last served with the team in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. Iqbal will now return to his duties in the high-performance set-up. PCB will advertise for Iqbal’s replacement soon.


Meanwhile, PCB has retained left-handed batter Bismah Maroof as captain of the national team and also awarded her A category in the renewed central contracts for the year 2020-21.
