Former Pakistan cricket captain says Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) should stop running after Indian Cricket Board for the bilateral series and should rather focus on PSL.
According to a foreign news agency former star batsman Inzamam ul Haq says Pakistan and India must play bilateral series but since no big team is currently willing to come to Pakistan and the Indian Cricket Board is taking full advantage of this situation by letting down Pakistan, therefore PCB should stop running after India and focus on organizing the PSL event.
Inzamam ul Haq said ‘I have mentioned many a times that Pakistan and India while playing each other are under tremendous pressure which provides an opportunity for both the team players to test their capability and improve their confidence. He said previously we used to have world class performers in our team but now due to the lack of International cricket being played in the country we are unable to witness any upcoming talent. PCB should arrange more events like PSL and convince foreign players to play in Pakistan and also invite smaller teams to play in Pakistan for the upbringing of cricket .
It may be noted that Inzamam ul Haq has represented Pakistan in 120 Tests and 378 One Day matches and has recently been appointed as the Head Coach for Afghanistan cricket team.
