KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will not keep a single penny of the $2.2 million the national team won after being crowned as the ICC Champions Trophy winners.

The board administration, instead, has divided the amount into 17 equal shares out of which 16 will be distributed to the squad including fast-bowler Wahab Riaz, who was dropped due to injury after featuring in team’s first match of the tournament.

The 17th share will be equally distributed among the 13-man team management which includes two media personnel, Raza Rashid and Oun Zaidi, Security Managers Major Azhar Arif and Shahid Aslam, in-charge tour operations and team manager Talat Ali.

PCB has also received an amount of $125,000 as Participation Fee from the ICC as they usually get from the multinational ICC events.
