PCB has started reviewing coaches performance of last domestic season


Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has started reviewing the performance of coaches of the last domestic season, ARY Sports reported.

According to sources, the performance of the 54 coaches working with various domestic teams will be reviewed.

The committee will review the performance of the first XI, second XI, U19, U16, and U13 coaches.

There are strong reports against some coaches, however, the committee will also take coaches’ stance after reviewing the reports.

The decision to call the coaches or take their stance on the video link will be made later. Coaches might be reshuffled across the teams on the basis of their performances.

Sources also revealed that the proposal of dismissing coaches who did not follow the rules is also under consideration. The committee will complete its work by the end of this month.

The committee will also consult the new head of the High-Performance Centre, Grant Bradburn. The head of High-Performance Coaching will also be able to question the coaches on their performance.

Bradburn will decide the future of coaches in the light of the committee’s report.
