PCB summons Mohammad Nawaz in its ‘fight against corruption’

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has summoned Cricketer Mohammad Nawaz in continuation of its fight against the menace of corruption in cricket, ARY News reported.

According to a press release issued on Monday, the board’s Security and Vigilance Department has issued a Notice of Demand to Nawaz, who plays the national side and has played Pakistan Super League (PSL) from Quetta Gladiators franchise.

This Notice of Demand has been issued under Article 4.3 of the PCB Anti-Corruption Code and requires Nawaz to appear before the PCB Security and Vigilance Department for an interview in relation to possible breaches of the PCB Anti-Corruption Code.

Due to the sensitivity of the matters under question PCB did not make any additional comments about the summoning.
