PCB to conduct a specialized camp for spinners


Pakistan Cricket Board is conducting a specialized camp for promising spinners at the National Cricket Academy under the supervision of the national spin bowling consultant, Mushtaq Ahmed.

The camp is to be conducted from 8th April to 14th April. The spin bowlers are selected by the board for their impressive performance in the domestic circuit.

The participants of the camp will be trained for technical, tactical and physical skills during the camp. Moreover, the selected spinners will be addressed by cricket icons that will help them sharpen their set of skills.

The selected bowlers include Yasir Shah, Zafar Gohar, Arsal Sheikh, Mohammad Asghar, Karamat Ali, Immad Wasim, Mohammad Nawaz, Bilal Asif, Hayat Ullah, Shadab Khan, Salman Fayyaz and Ahmad Shafiq.

However, the talented young leg spinner from Sialkot, Usama Mir’s name is missing from the list.

The performance of these bowlers will be observed during the Pentangular Domestic Tournament, on the basis of their performance, a comprehensive program for spinners will be conducted in the near future.
