PCB to hold a camp to search allrounders after eid

ISLAMABAD: As Pakistan is lacking a quality allrounder, the Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to hold a camp after eid to search for a capable allrounder.

Currently, the two names that circulate in Pakistan’s cricket circuit are of Anwar Ali and Bilawal Bhatti, both have failed to put up impressive performances at the highest level.

“Several players in recent times have tried to become regular all-rounders but have failed to fill the vacuum created by Abdul Razzaq and Azhar Mahmood,” a PCB official told APP.

Inzamam Ul Haq has also highlighted the need of a proper allrounder, Anwar Ali and Bilawal Bhatti are more of full time bowlers that are handy with the bat as well.

On the other hand, Misbah Ul Haq led Pakistan side will take on Sussex in a three-day game commencing from July 8. Pakistan was wonderful against Somerset in the first side game.
