Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has violated its own policy as players underwent the COVID-19 test at the local hospital during the isolation period, ARY Sports reported.

Former captain Mohammad Hafeez, pacer Wahab Riaz, masseur Malang Ali were sent to the hospital for the COVID-19 test during quarantine as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) itself informed all players to do self-isolation.

PCB had announced that the sample of the players would be taken from their homes as they were tested positive for COVID-19 in their last tests but this morning players were asked to go to the hospital to give samples.

Ten players who were tested positive underwent tests at their respective cities today. Haris Rauf, Haider Ali, Shadab Khan were tested in Rawalpindi. Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Imran were tested in Peshawar. Kashif Bhatti and Mohammad Hasnain were tested in Karachi.

It must be noted that Pakistan will fly to England on June 28 via a chartered plane. They are scheduled to play three Tests and as many T20Is.
