LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s chairman – Ehsan Mani congratulated the national team for defeating South Africa in third ODI and winning the series.
In a statement released by the PCB, Mani said the team’s confidence must have boosted after a convincing win over South Africa.
“The whole team showed courage and class to win the series. It is great that Pakistan won the ODI series twice in South Africa, first under the captaincy of Misbah-ul-Haq and now under Babar Azam,” he said.
Mani praised Fakhar Zaman and Babar individually and gave them their due credit for leading the team from the front. “Fakhar’s consistency was brilliant and Babar’s batting and good captaincy led Pakistan to this victory,” concluded Mani.
Remember, the green shirts will now take on South Africa in four T20Is series from April 10.
