PCB’s cricket committee to hold meeting today via video link


Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) cricket committee to hold its meeting today via video link, ARY Sports reported on Wednesday.

The meeting will be headed by former cricketer and chairman Iqbal Qasim. Former cricketers Wasim Akram, Umar Gul, Ali Naqvi, and Urooj Mumtaz will also attend the meeting on the video link. Chief Executive PCB Wasim Khan will represent the board at the all-important meeting.

The meeting will make suggestions regarding the upcoming domestic cricket season. The meeting will review the procedures of the revival of departmental cricket.

In light of the suggestions coming from the departments, a strategy for departmental cricket will be formulated.

After the meeting, the recommendations of the committee will be forwarded to the Chairman PCB Ehsan Mani.
